Double Acting Pneumatic Rotary Actuator

      Pneumatic valve actuator with compressed air as the power, is to open and close pneumatic ball valve, pneumatic butterfly valve, pneumatic gate valve, pneumatic globe valve, pneumatic diaphragm valve, pneumatic control valve and other pneumatic series of angular stroke valve driving device. It is an ideal device to realize remote pipe centralization or individual control of industrial automation pipeline.

Transmission principle:

       When the compressed air enters the pneumatic actuator, the gas pushes the double piston to the two ends in a straight line movement, the rack on the piston drives the gear on the rotating shaft to turn 90° counterclockwise, and the valve is opened. At this time, the gas at both ends of the pneumatic actuator pushes the double piston to the middle in a straight line with the gas of the B tube nozzle, and the rack on the piston drives the rack on the rotating shaft to rotate 90° C clockwise, and the valve is closed. At this time, the gas in the middle of the pneumatic actuator is discharged with the A nozzle. The above is the transmission principle of standard type.

 Model selection:

       1. Selection of double acting pneumatic actuator:

Select the double acting actuator, find the double acting pneumatic actuator torque table, according to the required torque value, and then increase the safety value of 10%, and then according to the working pressure of the air source, find the torque table, then the accurate GT model.

        2. Selection of spring return actuator:

Select the spring return actuator, should be based on the required torque value, and then increase the safety value of 20%, in the spring return torque table in the spring torque bar, find a torque value just than the safety value, according to the air source pressure, you can find the accurate GT single-acting actuator model (this value should be larger than the spring torque).
